Wildrose Workshop

Rex and family attended the diabetic alert dog workshop in Oxford, MS over the past weekend and made new friends as well as learned a lot about service dogs and diabetes.
It was a fun filled 3 days. Rex worked on scent discrimination and did great. Seth played in the woods and by the pond.

Training Rex !

We are home from our first training session and we learned so much. Rex alerts to both high and low blood sugars. He does really well with the high's. He is learning his basic obedience and is very smart.
I am looking forward to our 2nd training workshop at Wildrose Kennels ( where Rex is from) at the end of the month.

We want to thank Karen Gunderson for Pet / House sitting while we are away. Karen has been watching our Pets and home for the last 5 years when we go on vacation. We love her dearly. Karen is donating her services while we train our service dog in KY.
Thank You so Much Karen !!!
